Bo Elven

I work towards minimizing the use of brute force in care centers and schools when managing challenging behaviour. 
I educate and train staff and even parents in managing behaviour problems, for example severe violence or self harm. 
My methods are rooted in the low arousal tradition, based on affect theory. 
I work mainly in Sweden and Denmark.
Member of the board of ethics at the Swedish Psychological Association.

Specialties: Counselling staff in educational and care settings, writing (articles and books), teaching and conference talks.

My research has been focused on ethics in care.
